This Morning Routine Will Improve Your Mood

Start the Day

At the same time as often as possible to keep your sleep patterns consistent and therefore your stress levels lowered.

Write down one or two focuses for that day to avoid overwhelm and you have a North Star. One step at a time.

Move your body in some way; a walk , a class , a run/jog. Movement is good for shifting negative energy and regaining perspective.

Eat a balanced diet . You need to be your own biggest support system right now so eat in a way that fuels your body, knowing your emotional and physical toll is likely to be heavy.

Avoid the noise of checking social media and watching too much news, comparing yourself to others etc. You need your mental clarity to be able to focus on what’s best for you.
